A memorial to my beautiful nanny, who passed away peacefully in her sleep. she was an amazing person who gave all of our family so many memories, which will always be treasured in our hearts. i will never forget your warm hugs, soft laugh and all those times you wiped the tears from my face kissed the end of my nose and promised me everything will be ok. I was heartbroken when i was told, i didn't even get to say goodbye. it was so unexpected, the years have passed and knowing you are gone has not become any easier. i still cry but then i smile, because i know you are happy now you are back with your daughter christine and your husband harry. we will meet again one day, till then remember we all love you so much and you will never ever be forgotten. you taught me so much in the space of time i got to spend with you, my close friend not just my nan.

REST IN PEACE I LOVE YOU SOOOO MUCH XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

We little knew that morning that
God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly
In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
you did not go alone;
for part of us went with you,
the day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories,
your love is still our guide,
and though we cannot see you,
you are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken
and nothing seems the same,
but as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again.
